Current Year Policy Updates Page

Paws Day LLC reserves the right to update our policy/protocol throughout the year and will give all clients a minimum of 2 weeks notice prior to a change taking effect, access to any updates along with the effective date for any policy/protocol updates. These updates can be found on the 'Current Year Policy Updates'  page and will take the place of any old protocols and procedures in the Paws Day LLC booklet that they are in reference to. The updates on the 'Current Year Policy Updates' page will officially be added to the annually released policy booklet every December 15th however please notate the effective date next to all updates

By continuing/requesting service after the effective date you agree to abide by any updates on our 'Current Year Policy Updates' page.

Policy Updates

effective 5/30/25

Paws Day LLC will have a policy booklet released annually on December 15th. Any updates found on the Current Year Policy Updates page will be added into the policy booklet and we will also inform clients of any additional updates to the policy booklet. Once we send out the new policy booklet on December 15th recurring daycare clients will be required to fill out our 'Terms and Conditions' Form by December 30th each year to be eligible for active recurring services. After December 29th of each year clients who do not have recurring services will be required to fill out our 'Terms and Conditions' Form before their next service request.

Daycare Pick up/Drop off Protocol Update: Adding to our current 10 minute grace period policy we will have a courtesy call added at the 5 minute mark if we have not received a response to the 'Arrival' text. This will be in addition to the call at the 10 minute mark.

Vaccination Record Submission Update: Clients may use our Vaccine and Medication Submission Page on our website to access the submission link where you can upload your dog's vaccination records. We will also accept vaccination records sent via email to pawsday2019@gmail.com and Paws Day LLC will manually upload the records through the submission link for clients if you are unable to access the link or do not have a google account to submit. Our policy on the requirement of vaccinations and record submission listed in PD Booklet are up to date.

Medication: Any dogs attending service who will require administration of medicine of any kind (prescribed or over the counter) will be required to fill out our medication form on our website under the 'Vaccine and Medication Submission' Tab with the name of the medicine(s), the amount they should receive daily along with if it should be taken with breakfast/dinner. In the case of an emergency we will need this information on hand to be properly informed and to avoid delays in case veterinary care is needed. Clients may pack pill pockets or pill pocket substitutes but are not required as we keep PB, cheese, and other pill pocket substitutes on hand. If your dog's medication routine is updated, whether adding in medication, taking away a medication, switching the time of administering, etc please update us prior to their next service where we will need to administer medication by sending an email to pawsday2019@gmail.com.

Paws Day LLC requires all new clients requesting boarding services to complete a 24 hour trial board prior to a multiday boarding request. This is a separate requirement from our trial daycare/evaluation day to help set the pup's up for boarding success and get the pup's familiar with our residence, the routine we have for the boarding dogs, and familiar with us before staying for multiple days which can be an adjustment if they are not used to being away from home or aren't familiar with us.  Paws Day LLC reserves the right to request clients whose dog(s) have notations of anxiousness or hard time settling when over to complete a 24 hour board prior to a multiday board reservation if their pup(s) haven't attended boarding services within 75 days and/or are not in a recurring service schedule. Paws Day LLC reserves the right to request a client to complete a 24 hour board if there were difficulties with their most recent boarding stay that resulted in an official behavior notation sent via email.

Paws Day LLC has updated our standard boarding bundle options and parts of the policy pertaining to boarding bundles. We are no longer offering the 25 day boarding pass as an option for purchase. Moving forward, we will only offer the 15 day boarding pass with the 5% discount for purchase.

 

If your boarding bundle doesn't cover your full boarding request Paws Day LLC will give client the option to purchase another bundle to cover the remaining balance or we will send an official breakdown as we do with a standard boarding request and manually apply the credits to the breakdown. If your boarding credits does not cover the entire 50% deposit to hold the slot you will be required to pay whatever is leftover deposit balance after we apply your credits to the deposit which will be due within 24 hours of receiving your boarding breakdown and invoice. You will also receive an invoice for the remaining balance that will be due the day prior to your boarding service start timeframe.

 

(Example: if you have one boarding day credit remaining from a bundle purchase and you request a 4 day boarding service. You may purchase another boarding bundle to cover the credits OR you will be required to pay the leftover deposit balance for 50% deposit to hold your boarding reservation after we apply your boarding credit to the deposit. You will also receive your remaining balance invoice which will be due the day prior to your service start time)

PD Leash Program: We will officially be changing our leash program. Paws Day LLC will begin collecting the PD Black leashes from clients. Clients will pack their personal leashes and we will swap out the leashes once your pup is in our care to the black PD leashes while over for service. We will hold on to your personal leash and switch the leashes back at the end of your dog's service with us.
